The aeronautical radio provides reliable two-way radio communications between the offshore facilities and helicopters. Helicopter control will be executed from the Heli Admin prior to take off and landing. VHF AM Base Station can assign Up to 7-character memory names for each channel. It allows simple and quick channel recognition and selection. Operator’s transmitted messages and calls are audio modulated and can be heard by standard airband headsets, even in the most demanding operating conditions. VHF AM handheld radio stores the last 10 channels used with VOR navigation functions. It is convenient for switching between several channels, such as NAV and COM channels and the water resistant construction provides reliable operation in wet conditions.
