The electrically powered fog signals can automatically broadcast a 360 degree beam of sound in the horizontal plane with a pre-selected code. Designed for unattended operation from a 12 VDC source, they can be powered by primary air-depolarized cells or by a selected solar power system. Where mains power is available, they can be operated in conjunction with a battery charger and a rechargeable battery.
The fog horns Omega supplies are United States Coast Guard approved, comply with all IALA recommendations and UL listed, suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, Group A, B, C and D hazardous areas.
