SOUND RECEPTION SYSTEM

Sound Reception System is a device for the wheelhouse isolated from the outside to pick up the signals clearly coming from other vessels by sensing the sound waves (70Hz-820Hz) outside the vessel. A sound amplifier and speakers are installed in the wheelhouse, and four waterproof microphones are connected to the outside. It is possible to figure out the direction of sound as the speakers in the wheelhouse output the amplified sound from the microphones installed outside. The level of output sound can be controlled and interfaced to the PAGA and Whistle systems. The system was tested at the IEC60945 standard and approved for CE. It obtained the type approval from RINA.
